Behind Closed Doors

Behind closed doors, we stay

Our pain hidden deep inside 

An endless well of sorrow

The time is here my friend,

 we make our own tomorrow

Deceit and lies

tools they use to bind our souls to them

The night is long The road is dark

The end is coming fast

Our world grows darker day by day 

Midnight is creeping close

It;s worth the risk 

Worth any price 

To save earth while we can

The bombs go off the wars still rage

Closer every day

fight for peace,

fight for life it is the only way

There go your essential workers

As empire fights for it’;s life

The media are ignored 

Life is different now as the empire loses its death grip on the people

Hope lives in on defiance of state propaganda

Empire swears to be less oppressive, if everyone surrenders

The world on fire

As governments fall

The chain of command descends in chaos 

Military police patrol a new America

Empire forces Un vote to condemn citizen groups of more than two people 

Our national divide widens

Tears and tear gas

We denounce your authority,

reject your control

We will open the borders 

Set the  captives free

The oppression will end

As the bombs fall around us

The fire  burns

Till we’ve freedom and justice

Our work is far from done

The airs fills with humming

Silent a bird, takes to flight

This crashing, breaking, storms brewing this night

A light shines in the city

As curfew falls

No words, can be spoken in empires

Darkest of nights

We see through your  lies now

Our minds are made up

Your rule over us is done 

We are free 

We watch as it crashes

Empires bust and doom

The sky has cleared now

We breath clean air

We nearly all died 

On this world we call home

A free world is dawning

No oppression, no wars 

No more exploitation

No empire

No classes 

No money

Just plants,  animals, people
