  A tent under the bridge  Pass a stranger  holding a sign Unknown and uncared for  A person has value  A person is a person  No matter their circumstances We  pay to kill civilians in other country but won;t keep our own housed and fed It’s getting worse As our wealth gap grows Will you fall through the cracks?  Will we have a house in a few months?  Something can be done It’s a matter of caring enough to find the solution Think with your heart  Don;t think with you fear There are humans sleeping on our sidewalks  Living in a tent under your local bridge Just trying to live and not die To have food and not starve  To have water  To have heat To be seen as a person, as the same as you and me It’s not about me and it’s not about you it’s about us Will we choose to care about each other or not?  Choose to see each other, or not?  To love or not?  Inequality kills It takes man...
